Goodman Real Estate and Capri Capital Partners LLC are buying the Tower 801 apartment building in downtown Seattle for $50.1 million.
Goodman Real Estate and Capri Capital Partners LLC announced Tuesday that they’re buying the 25-story Tower 801 apartment building in downtown Seattle for $50.1 million.
The distinctive round tower at 801 Pine St. has 173 apartments and two ground-floor retail spaces.
It was built in 1970 and has been renovated twice. The companies said Tower 801 will undergo capital improvements, including a new sports bar tenant lounge that will have vintage video games.
The tower also will be painted, new signs will be installed, and individual units will be updated with washers and dryers, kitchen appliances and cabinetry.
David Young, Corey Marx and Seth Heikkila of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Seattle office brokered the deal, with Mary Ann King from Moran and Co. representing the seller, Essex Tower 801 Apartments L.P.
