Ken James

Project Manager

Construction has been a life-long passion for Ken. Growing up, Ken could often be found helping his dad on jobsites, and would spend his summers working as a laborer. Today, he has over 15 years of professional experience in the industry, and he brings a wide breadth of skills and knowledge to his position at Goodman Real Estate.

Ken has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from aerospace and light manufacturing, to retail spaces and historic renovations. In 2022 he joined the GRE team, and now focuses primarily on multi-family developments. He believes that a successful project manager can not only ensure that a project is prosperous financially, but also does not compromise on safety and efficiency.

Ken is a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelors in Construction Management, and a certificate in Commercial Real Estate. In his free time, Ken enjoys long distance running, working on home projects, playing with his energetic red nose pit bull, and going on sailing adventures with his wife.

Christian Knorr

Project Manager

Christian Knorr is a Project Manager with GRE Construction, where his area of focus is multi-family, mixed use, commercial, new construction, and renovations. Having first joined GRE back in 2018, Christian left and returned in 2022, bringing with him 17+ years of experience in the construction industry working for companies including Fairfield Residential and Compass Construction. The goal of Christian’s role as Project Manager is to successfully deliver projects to meet, if not exceed, expectations.

Christian’s expertise lies in developing collaborative, dedicated, and enthusiastic teams focused on the values and objectives of the organization. He maintains a proven track record of growing long-standing customer relationships. While his colleagues best describe him as hardworking and constantly going the extra mile, Christian prides himself on his honesty, fairness, and always looking out for GRE’s best interests.

Christian earned his BS degree in General Management from Florida Atlantic University. Outside of work, spending time with family and exploring the great outdoors are his favorite pastimes. He also enjoys working on home projects, tinkering in the garage, and indulging his interest in classic cars—particularly foreign 4WDs.

Richard Erickson

Superintendent

Richard Erickson has over 40 years of experience in construction—he started on the mechanical side of the business as a Steamfitter/Plumber and Welder, and he moved his way up to Project Superintendent. He joined Goodman Real Estate in 2022 and coordinates on-site projects for new construction and renovations for mixed-use commercial development.

Over the course of Richard’s career, he has worked throughout Washington and Oregon on notable projects including the UW’s Hec Edmundson Pavilion and the Seattle Marriott Waterfront Hotel, among many others. He has an approachable leadership style and a knack for connecting with trade partners and creating a collaborative environment to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Richard is a member of the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters, completed a 5-year apprenticeship in Plumbing and Steamfitting, and is a certified Plumber/Pipefitter and Welder. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, travel, and property investment. He is currently training for his second attempt to summit Mt. Rainier.

Jeff Gerde

General Superintendent

Jeff Gerde has built an impressive and diverse portfolio of work over his 36 years in the construction industry. He has been the Superintendent on multiple NAIOP award-winning projects. His experience spans historic renovation, assisted living, low-income housing, and market-rate apartments. He joined Goodman Real Estate in 2021 as a General Superintendent, where he oversees multifamily projects, ensures site and employee safety, keeps projects on schedule, and maintains subcontractor relations.

Outside of work, Jeff coaches varsity football at Cedarcrest High School in Duvall, WA. He enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.

Jesse Dehnert

Assistant Project Manager

Jesse Dehnert is a Project Engineer who joined Goodman Real Estate in 2021. He brings 5+ years of experience working as a Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager for a mechanical contractor, where he gained valuable skills in multi-tasking and prioritizing projects.

In his role at GRE, Jesse focuses on multi-use construction projects. He is adept at removing points of friction during the construction process and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Jesse enjoys collaborating with subcontractors and making sure they each have what they need to work cohesively and deliver an outstanding product.

Jesse has a BA in Business Administration with minors in Economics and Sustainability from Principia College. He is a talented musician who enjoys playing and composing music, mountain biking and skiing, and spending time with his family.

Paul Mandish

Senior Superintendent

Paul Mandish brings 20 years of industry experience to his role as Project Manager for Goodman Real Estate. He joined the multi-family construction team in 2021, and he uses his vast experience and knowledge to ensure site safety and deliver a great product. He plans and coordinates projects, manages job sites, and collaborates with subcontractors.

Paul is a strong communicator who prioritizes open communication with his project team. He is a natural problem-solver and has a knack for identifying potential conflicts ahead of time.

Outside of work, Paul is a volunteer coach for youth soccer and softball. He enjoys all things board sports: wakeboarding, snowboarding, and skateboarding, and he has a collection of vintage skateboards. Paul and his family enjoy spending their weekends in Lake Chelan.

Jin Lee

Project Manager

As the Project Manager focused on pre-construction, Jin Lee is the technical lead on all current GRE Construction projects. He liaises with Building Officials, Design Consultants, and Subcontractors to anticipate issues and develop solutions to keep each job on budget and on schedule.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of British Columbia, Jin has a solid background in Architectural Design. He has worked for Weber Thompson, Ankrom Moison and Exxel Pacific, delivering 20+ multi-family projects. With his unique combination of design and technical skills, Jin brings a wider-than-typical spectrum of skills to the job.

In his spare time, Jin enjoys reading and monitoring media and politics. He enjoys drawing and spends time riding and maintaining his collection of vintage motorcycles.

Victor Vo

Construction Manager

Victor has more than 20 years of experience working in the construction industry, most recently working for Exxel Pacific before joining Goodman Real Estate in 2017. As the Construction Manager, his focus is managing project teams and subcontractors during construction, budgeting and pre-construction on new properties. Victor holds a BS in Construction Management from the University of Washington.

Known for his “get it done” attitude, Victor has the ability to quickly and efficiently complete projects and move on to the next one with enthusiasm and momentum. His team enjoys working with him because he keeps his work fun and interesting. He takes pride in turning over a great product and in embodying GRE’s core value of rewarding hard work. Victor believes that safety is his number one priority, and establishes high standards to keep everyone safe and ensure the team is performing to their best ability.

Outside of work, Victor is most often found spending time with his family. He enjoys fishing, archery, shooting sports, and classic cars.

Gavin Erickson

Senior Project Manager

Gavin Erickson joined Goodman Real Estate in 2018 as an Assistant Project Manager and was recently promoted to Senior Project Manager. Gavin supports the Management team and oversees all phases of construction projects to ensure work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Gavin is a Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC) and LEED Green Advisor (LEED GA). Gavin studied Architecture at Montana State University where he received his BA in Environmental Design and his MA in Architecture. A Washington state native, he returned to the Pacific Northwest after finishing his education and worked for a local architecture firm for 10+ years. Gavin’s background in architecture provided him with a unique knowledge of building codes and architectural intent, which helps streamline processes by avoiding potential conflicts and delays. A hardworking and dedicated professional with a knack for sustainability and efficiency, Gavin takes pride in his ability to juggle multiple deadlines with calm and composure. On the job site, he appreciates honesty and hard work in his colleagues, and holds himself to a high standard of these attributes daily. Gavin believes that having a home is a human right. He lends his considerable skill set volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, an organization that supports that ideal. Outside of work, Gavin enjoys spending time in the great outdoors: rock climbing, sailing, hiking, camping, and skiing.
