As the Construction Manager, Eric participates in the conceptual development of each new multi-family construction project and oversees its organization, scheduling, and implementation.

Eric’s interest in construction began at an early age, when he would spend long hours in the woods near his house building forts from spare tree limbs and other various raw materials.

Deeply thoughtful, Eric is a rising leader grounded by his dedication to the details. He fosters a culture of collaboration and is deeply committed to continuous improvement of construction process and work product. He derives the most satisfaction from working side by side with other like-minded professionals. Eric’s work ethic and fluent approach continues to add value to Goodman Real Estate and he is a well-regarded member of the team.

In his spare time, Eric enjoys being with his family and friends, and can often be found spending time on the water on his fishing boat.

He made the move to GRE in order to work on the development side. He enjoys partnering with the architect and being involved in the overall design. His role allows him to focus on the aesthetics and finishes of a property. He creates a polished, welcoming space by focusing on the details.
Keeping his eye on his overall goal of making an enjoyable, productive, and safe work site; John believes that his success is due to the strong relationships that he develops with his team and subcontractors. He knows that one person alone can’t get the job done – it takes the whole team to be successful.

John is known for his ability to drive a hard schedule and ensure quality control. He is talented at adapting to design issues quickly without falling behind on schedule. He attributes this ability to the open and honest interactions he promotes within his team. His belief that it’s better to get ahead of an issue ensures there are no surprises.

Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his close-knit family, barbecuing, and fishing. He has a Band Saw Mill and works with wood reclaimed from underwater logs taken from Lake Washington to create tabletops and other furniture.
