Rita Burden
Director of Property Management
Rita began working at Goodman Real Estate in 2001 in an administrative position and excelled through increasingly impactful roles on her way to becoming an Asset Manager in 2007. After excelling in this capacity for over a decade, Rita joined GRE Management as the Director of Property Management.
Today, Rita oversees the management of nearly 11,000 units nationwide, leading a robust team of more than 200 employees. Throughout her accomplished career, Rita has consistently shown an unyielding passion for nurturing talent and fostering professional growth among her team members.
Throughout her accomplished career, Rita has demonstrated a passion for cultivating talent and empowering team members to progress professionally. As Director, she leads operations, financial management, and personnel direction for the GRE-M portfolio. Rita ensures communities are maintained to GRE’s high standards with stabilized finances, satisfied residents, and motivated onsite teams.
Known for her efficient and collaborative leadership style, Rita excels at guiding managers to create solutions to any challenge. Rita holds an International Business degree from Washington State University, further enhancing her strategic perspective and knowledge of business operations.
Outside of work, Rita enjoys volunteering and spending time with her family. As avid travelers and sports fans, the Burden family loves cheering for the WSU Cougars and Seattle Seahawks.
