Johnny Goodman brings over a decade of expertise in multifamily and commercial real estate investments to Goodman Real Estate. With a proven track record of contributing to some of the company’s most impactful projects—including Canvas, Muse, NW Work Lofts, Smith Tower, and Signature Pointe Apartments—Johnny plays a pivotal role in shaping GRE’s investment strategy and navigating complex housing market dynamics.

Johnny thrives on finding creative solutions to complex challenges, navigating the dynamic factors that shape the housing market. GRE’s forward-thinking culture complements his growth-oriented approach, driving collaboration and innovation. His approach combines in-depth market insight, innovative financial modeling, and a commitment to delivering strong returns for the long-term goals of GRE.

In his free time, Johnny is an avid skier, golfer, and traveler. Passionate about giving back, he has funded technology education initiatives that establish small computer schools in rural, underserved areas of the world, helping children gain access to internet resources and digital learning tools.

Don Fosseen

Chief Investment Officer

Don Fosseen serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Goodman Real Estate, bringing an impressive track record of more than 35 years of experience in the real estate industry. Don’s expertise lies in identifying lucrative investment opportunities and overseeing acquisitions, dispositions, and equity.

A graduate of the University of Washington, Don spent 20 years at CBRE as a leading investment sales executive. Known for his groundbreaking deal-making skills, he has successfully managed over $2 billion in acquisitions and dispositions, completing more than 350 transactions. His experience extends to managing teams specializing in asset and property management, and he is highly regarded for his strong relationships with institutions and equity partners.

Outside of work, Don is a dedicated family man and enjoys spending time with his six children. His hobbies include skiing, boating, paddleboarding, swimming, and reading.

Fred Eastman

Chief Financial Officer

Fred Eastman is the Chief Financial Officer at Goodman Real Estate where he oversees all finance and accounting functions across the organization. Fred’s primary focus is ensuring the finance and accounting team is well-trained, focused on collaboration within GRE, and delivering timely and accurate financial reporting.

Starting out his career in public accounting as an auditor at Ernst and Young, Fred has spent his entire career in real estate accounting and possesses a wealth of experience with executing unique business transactions while managing monthly and yearly financial reporting. He thrives on strategic planning and focusing on efficient execution of tasks.

Fred graduated from Seattle University with a degree in Business Administration and holds his CPA licensure. When not at work, Fred enjoys spending time with his family and coaching his two boys in baseball, football, and golf. He is an avid Seahawks fan who enjoys attending home games as much as traveling to away games. Fred enjoys travel—especially to Mexico—and loves playing golf.

George Petrie

Chief Executive Officer

As the CEO of Goodman Real Estate, George brings more than 35 years of industry experience and expertise. George has cultivated a professional culture driving success through the company’s mission, vision, and values. He has led teams to develop, acquire, and dispose of over 350 assets globally. With experience in finance, accounting, property and asset management, and capital markets, George invests his time and talents to the future of real estate investment at GRE.

George drives satisfaction by challenging his team at GRE to reach their goals and fostering growth and leadership within each individual. He is a passionate advocate for increasing the national housing supply by influencing policymakers to remove legislative and regulatory barriers. George believes that a portion of profitable work should go toward those at risk in the community. This led to the creation of IMPACT, a company-wide initiative that collaborates with local non-profits to serve vulnerable groups, focusing on shelter, community, education, sustainability, and relief.

Outside of work, George serves on several non-profit boards, spends quality time with his wife and three daughters near the University of Washington, and enjoys boating, skiing, traveling, and supporting local charities.

Eric Rogers

Director of Debt & Transactions

Eric joined GRE in 2014 as an intern for the Asset Services department while completing his degree in Business from Washington State University. He was hired upon graduation as an Associate, continuing to work in Asset Services before transferring to the Development and Construction teams. Eric found his niche as a Financial Analyst in 2017 where he began learning about the investment side of business operations.

As the Director of Debt & Transactions, Eric is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities in target markets, debt placement, overseeing underwriting on new acquisitions, and developing investment strategies for future and current development and renovation projects.

An avid sports fan, Eric is a supporter of the nonprofit Courts for Kids, an organization that builds sports courts for children in economically disadvantaged areas.

Kelli Jo Norris

President

As President of Goodman Real Estate (GRE), Kelli Jo is a passionate servant leader who has driven the success of GRE’s three companies’ integration, which resulted in all companies operating at its highest potential. She attributes their success by focusing on developing a foundation of vision, strategy, and goals in partnership with CEO George Petrie. Her goal of creating a culture of positivity, transparency, and authenticity not only attracts top talent but also cultivates the next generation of leaders.

With an innovative and inclusive leadership style, Kelli Jo fosters an environment of humility while empowering her team and celebrating their successes. Through mentorship and developing team members and she challenges each person to grow in their roles and beyond.

Kelli Jo first joined Goodman Real Estate in 1996. Her career spans more than 25 years, working in every facet of real estate including development, property management, acquisition, and land disposition.

Kelli Jo is an active member of several industry organizations such as the North Seattle College (NSC) Residential and Property Management B.A.S. Advisory Board, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), and Downtown Seattle Association (DSA). Kelli Jo and her family enjoy an active lifestyle. In addition to being avid equestrians, they love to ski, hike, run, and enjoy time together.

Chad Lenchuk

Director of Asset Services

Chad began working with John Goodman in 1998 as an Acquisition Underwriter in what was then Goodman Financial Services. After five years away as an Investment Manager for Schnitzer West, he returned to GRE in 2006.

As the Director of Asset Services, Chad manages a multifamily portfolio of approximately 3,000 units and specifically enjoys completing acquisition rehabilitations. Chad is responsible for the asset management of the firm’s investments and plays a key role in our growth and success. Known for his financial strength, Chad has a knack for reviewing and creating financial reviews of properties. Chad is passionate about creating value and enjoys improving the efficiency, leasing ability, and value of a property.

Chad holds a degree in both Economics and Business from the University of Washington and is a CPM candidate. He is actively involved with the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Chad participates annually in the Space Needle “Base 2 Space” stair climb to benefit Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center. Having seen several friends and family members affected by cancer, Chad’s competitive nature motivates his fundraising efforts. During the inaugural event, he is proud to say that he was the #1 overall fundraiser. Since then, he has consistently been one of the top 5 fundraisers every year, raising approximately $18,500 over the span of 3 years.

John Goodman

John Goodman is a well-established business professional and active philanthropist in the Greater Seattle area. With over four decades of experience in real estate investment, management, and development, John’s illustrious career is a testament to his entrepreneurial acumen and deep market insight. He is the founder and chairman of Goodman Real Estate, an investment firm that skillfully constructs and manages a diverse portfolio of multi-family and commercial assets.

Throughout his career, John has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the real estate sector by owning an impressive 350 buildings, encompassing over 40,000 apartment units and 2.5 million square feet of office space. His notable contributions have helped shape the Puget Sound region’s landscape of commercial space and multifamily housing.

John’s success is not merely a result of his business prowess but also his unyielding integrity, cherished professional and personal relationships, and the dynamic team of real estate professionals he has cultivated over the years. His visionary approach coupled with his infectious enthusiasm and ability to transform ideas into reality has been the driving force behind Goodman Real Estate’s accomplishments.

In recognition of his remarkable achievements, John was honored with the Washington Multifamily Housing Association Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013, further solidifying his legacy in the industry. His entrepreneurial journey has seen him establish and own several successful companies, including Pinnacle Property Management Services (at one time the largest multifamily manager in the United States), Cascade Affordable Housing, Olympic Housing, Goodman Hospitality, Triad Development, and the Goodman Office division. Over the years John has owned or managed in forty-two states, fifty cities and four countries.

Beyond his corporate achievements, John is deeply committed to giving back to his community. In 2005, he established the Goodman Foundation, which supports organizations dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and their families. Some of the beneficiaries include the Ballard Boys & Girls Club, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and the Big Brother/Big Sister program.

A proud Seattle native, John leads a fulfilling personal life alongside his successful career. He is a devoted husband and father to three children. In his leisure time, he relishes in the company of his friends and family, enjoying pursuits such as racing, golfing, and boating.
